Diagnostic


This section allows to test some specific sections and functionalities of the Netman card.

Please be carefull with the tests and their effects on warnings / errors / messages as side effect.

Test COMM LOST

This test will interrupt the communication with the UPS with these effects:

  • no communication with the UPS
  • warning messages in the web page as COMM LOST
  • other warnings and messages sent via SNMP / Email / SYSLOG / etc... when set

Testing time: 1 minute


After the test the communication with the UPS will be restored to normal.




Test AUDIT FAILURE

This test checks for the correct internal LOG writing capability:

  • TEST PASSED: the writing capability of LOGS is ok.
  • ERROR: writing test failed, some LOGS data can not be written as expected

Testing time: a few seconds


Web Requests

Report of unexpected web server requests:

  • the number of requests received from then Web Server is over the normal behaviour
